Home Accessibility

Buckeye Hills offers Home Accessibility Modifications and Minor Home Repair for seniors age 60 and above and for those under 60 with a disability in need of handicap accessibility repairs.

The program has been designed to focus on the mobility needs of residents in the region. These services include minor home repair for residents over 60. Often these issues are difficult to address for those residents. The use of grant funding secured by Buckeye Hills, along with other funding available throughout the region by partner agencies, has made a significant impact in working to preserve an individuals ability to stay in their home by improving accessibility.  Aging in place is a concept held by Buckeye Hills and other organizations across Ohio as a more desirable alternative to institutionalized living.
