Connecting People to Community Resources
People of all ages, disabilities and income levels can turn to the Buckeye Hills Aging & Disability program for objective information on a full range of long-term care service and support options.
When you have questions about aging or long-term care services, we have answers. AIRS Certified staff in Information & Referral are ready to answer questions, share information about options, and connect callers to the community resources and services that can best meet individual needs.
Medicare Support Services:
Many older and disabled Ohioans are struggling to pay their out-of-pocket Medicare costs (premiums, deductibles, co-payments and drug costs). “Extra Help” is available for those of limited means.
Buckeye Hills has certified Information & Assistance staff that can assist you with information related to Medicare open enrollment and Extra Help; call 1-800-331-2644, today!
They can also help you see if you qualify to SAVE an average of $3,900 on your prescription drug costs – known as “Extra Help” or Low-Income Subsidy (LIS) or Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs).
Millions of low-income elders struggle to pay their prescription, health care, food, and energy costs. Through The Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA) of 2008, Buckeye Hills can help disadvantaged seniors regain their economic footing and lead healthy, independent lives.
