Buckeye Hills is pleased to announce that the Sheriff’s Offices across Southeast Ohio will receive new equipment through nearly $13,350 in grants and contributions to the Project Lifesaver program serving Athens, Hocking, Meigs, Morgan, Monroe, Noble, Perry and Washington Counties. In Southeast Ohio, Project Lifesaver is a partnership with each County Sheriff’s Office and the Buckeye Hills Area Agency on Aging 8.
Buckeye Hills supported the Meigs County Medical Innovative Readiness Training June 2-11, 2015 at Meigs High School in Pomeroy. The 2015 Ohio River Medical Mission conducted by the 7241st Army Medical Command in Meigs County served a total of 2,952 (patients and animals) with an estimated total cost savings to the community of $739,357! Patients came from 61 towns across 20 counties in four states! - 844 Dental services - 703 Vision services with 681 free pairs of glasses - 646 Behavioral Health services - 1,128 Ministry services - 343 Prescription services - 986 Veterinary services
