Noble County Ohio

Noble County, was established in 1851 and was the last of Ohio’s 88 counties to be formed, named in honor of James Noble, one of the county’s first settlers. Noble County is located in the heart of Southeastern Ohio, 30 minutes from Marietta and Cambridge and fewer than two and a half hours from Columbus, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh.

Noble County is located in the heart of the Marcellus and Utica Shale Play. The county is bisected by I-77, which connects Cleveland to southern Ohio. Thirty minutes north of the county’s center is I-70, one of the nation’s busiest interstates.
