SUMMARY:ODOT State Transportation Improvement Program Open House
DESCRIPTION:On April 5 and April 7\, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.\, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will host public involvement open house meetings for the draft 2024-2027 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) at Buckeye Hills Regional Council. The STIP is Ohio’s four-year transportation planning document that lists the projects planned for some phase of implementation during the four-year period. \nThese open house meetings provide an opportunity for local officials and members of the public to get information and share input on the transportation projects being planned over the next four years. \nIndividuals unable to attend one of the open house meetings can also visit transportation.ohio.gov/stip to review the STIP and provide comments online through April 10. \nThese meetings will also provide an opportunity to review and provide public comment on the draft Regional Transportation Improvement Program. \nBuckeye Hills Regional Council is the designated Ohio Regional Transportation Planning Organization (RTPO) for Athens\, Hocking\, Meigs\, Monroe\, Morgan\, Noble\, Perry\, and Washington counties in Southeast Ohio\, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). The purpose of the RTPO is to allow local officials to have more input in transportation decisions within the region. \nQuestions regarding these meetings and requests for interpretation services or reasonable accommodation to participate should be directed to Melissa Zoller\, Planning Director.

DESCRIPTION:The District 18 Ohio Public Works Fiscal Year 2024 (Round 37) Executive Committee meeting will be held in person at Buckeye Hills Regional Council on Wednesday\, April 5\, 2023\, at 10:00 a.m. \nThe purpose of this meeting is to review the Fiscal Year 2025 (Round 38) Evaluation Criteria prior to submission to the OPWC Integrating Committee for their approval and to appoint/re-appoint members to the Natural Resources Assistance Council (NRAC). \nThe District 18 Ohio Public Works Fiscal Year 2025 (Round 38) Integrating Committee will be held in person at Buckeye Hills Regional Council on Wednesday\, April 5\, 2023\, at 10:45 a.m. \nThe purpose of this meeting is to appoint Fiscal Year 2025 (Round 38) Integrating Committee members to the Fiscal Year 2025 (Round 38) Executive Committee\, appoint Fiscal Year 2025 (Round 38) Small Government Committee members\, appoint Fiscal Year 2025 (Round 38) officers and approve the Fiscal Year 2025 (Round 38) timetable and methodology. \nImmediately following the Integrating Committee meeting\, the Fiscal Year 2025 (Round 38) Executive and Small Government committees will meet to elect officers. \nThis program funds projects such as road\, bridge\, culvert\, water\, wastewater\, solid waste\, and stormwater facilities from eligible local government entities in Athens\, Belmont\, Hocking\, Meigs\, Monroe\, Morgan\, Muskingum\, Noble\, Perry\, and Washington counties in southeast Ohio that has a population of 5\,000 or less. \nQuestions regarding this program should be directed to Jada Riley\, Development Specialist III.
