SUMMARY:Buckeye Hills Forward Advisory Group
DESCRIPTION:The Buckeye Hills Forward advisory group will meet at the Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD)\, 1 Pinchot Place in Athens\, on Thursday\, August 29\, at 12:00 p.m. \nAs an Economic Development District designated by the U.S. Economic Development Administration\, Buckeye Hills Regional Council is responsible for updating the regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) every five years. The next update is due by 2025. This update\, titled Buckeye Hills Forward: A Regional Economic Plan\, will lay a clear path forward for economic development activities in the region\, formulated by members of communities in the following counties: Athens\, Hocking\, Meigs\, Monroe\, Morgan\, Noble\, Perry\, and Washington. Activities regarding workforce\, housing\, outdoor recreation\, and education are examples of potential areas of development to be explored within the strategy. \nQuestions regarding this program should be directed to Jada Riley\, Development Specialist III\, at jriley@buckeyehills.org or 740-376-7636.
