SUMMARY:OneOhio Region 12 Special Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The OneOhio Region 12 Committee will hold a special meeting on Tuesday\, January 30\, 2024\, 10:00 a.m. at Buckeye Hills Regional Council\, 1400 Pike Street\, Marietta. The purpose of this meeting will be to amend the OneOhio Region 12 Bylaws. \nBuckeye Hills Regional Council serves as the administrative agent Region 12 of the OneOhio Recovery Foundation\, which was created to distribute the local share of funds from the State of Ohio’s settlement with the pharmaceutical industry as a consequence of its role in the national opioid epidemic. Region 12 is comprised of Coshocton\, Muskingum\, Guernsey\, Perry\, Morgan\, Noble\, Monroe\, and Washington counties. SUMMARY:District 18 Ohio Public Works Commission Small Government Committee
DESCRIPTION:The District 18 Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) Small Government Committee will meet at Buckeye Hills Regional Council on Wednesday\, January 31\, 2024\, at 10:00 a.m. \nThe purpose of this meeting is to select the Fiscal Year 2025 (Round 38) Small Government slate of projects that will be forwarded to the Ohio Public Works Commission to compete for funding with the other 18 districts. \nThis program funds projects such as roads\, bridges\, culverts\, water\, wastewater\, solid waste\, and storm water facilities for eligible local government entities in Athens\, Belmont\, Hocking\, Meigs\, Monroe\, Morgan\, Muskingum\, Noble\, Perry\, and Washington counties in southeast Ohio with a population of 5\,000 or less. \nQuestions regarding this program should be directed to Jada Riley\, Program Manager/District 18 Liaison\, at jriley@buckeyehills.org or 740-376-7636.
