The next update is due by 2025. This update\, titled Buckeye Hills Forward: A Regional Economic Plan\, will lay a clear path forward for economic development activities in the region\, formulated by members of communities in the following counties: Athens\, Hocking\, Meigs\, Monroe\, Morgan\, Noble\, Perry\, and Washington. DESCRIPTION:The next regular meeting of the OneOhio Region 12 Committee will be Friday\, February 9\, 10:00 a.m. at the John McIntire Library\, 220 North 5th Street in Zanesville. The purpose of this meeting is to receive updates from the OneOhio Foundation related to the rollout of grant technology and to hear from community partners working to address the opioid crisis. \nBuckeye Hills Regional Council serves as the administrative agent Region 12 of the OneOhio Recovery Foundation\, which was created to distribute the local share of funds from the State of Ohio’s settlement with the pharmaceutical industry as a consequence of its role in the national opioid epidemic. Region 12 is comprised of Coshocton\, Muskingum\, Guernsey\, Perry\, Morgan\, Noble\, Monroe\, and Washington counties.
