In this dynamic role, you’ll manage our conference center to ensure seamless meetings and events, oversee facility maintenance to keep our space safe and welcoming and provide administrative support. From coordinating events and managing vendor contracts to tackling light maintenance tasks and office supply orders, this position is perfect for someone who thrives on variety and takes pride in delivering excellence.
Primary responsibilities include the management of the conference center for meetings and events, general facility management, and administrative and clerical support for all divisions. The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Organize and set up tables and chairs, coordinate food and A/V equipment needs, and handle cleanup of the conference center.
- Perform small maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging toilets, vacuuming carpets, and mopping floors.
- Ensure the safety of the premises by shoveling snow and treating the walkways to prevent slips and falls.
- Manage bids and contracts related to building repairs and upgrades.
- Monthly supply orders and managing purchase orders.
- Administrative tasks and support for all divisions.
Essential skills, knowledge, and abilities include but are not limited to:
- Must be able to work closely with all team members.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Arrange and relocate tables and chairs as needed for events and meetings.
- Coordinate and manage events efficiently, including scheduling, setup, and communication with participants.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Office 365 and SharePoint (preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Experience Required:
This position requires a two-year associate degree, with coursework in business practices and procedures and three (3) years of progressive experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Starting salary range: $29,884 – $37,355
