Notifying the public of rights under Title VI

The Buckeye Hills Regional Council operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the Buckeye Hills Regional Council.

Americans with Disabilities Act Policy

It is the policy of Buckeye Hills Regional Council to comply with all the legal requirements of federal and state laws and regulations as they pertain to individuals with disabilities. If state laws and federal regulations are contradictory, the federal ADA regulations prevail. Buckeye Hills Regional Council provides transportation information services without discrimination to all persons including individuals with disabilities. Discrimination on the basis of disability against any person will not be condoned or tolerated.

Procurement Policy

This policy establishes guidelines and minimum standards that BHRC will use in the management of its third-party contracts. Our procurement policy is intended to ensure that BHRC complies with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Ohio Department of Transportation’s standards to ensure full and open competition and equitable treatment of all potential sources for all purchases made with funding derived from the Federal, state, and local governments. In all purchasing activity, the goal of BHRC is to ensure maximum open and free competition consistent with:

  • FTA Circular 4220.1F “Third Party Contracting Guidance” or the latest version thereof;
  • 2 CFR § 200.317 – 200.326
  • ODOT State Management Plan.
