Next Generation MyCare Requirements

Ohio’s updated MyCare program for individuals with both Medicaid and Medicare is designed to integrate benefits and improve member and provider experience. Older adults may receive support including adult day services, assisted living care, home-delivered meals, emergency response systems, home modification, home maintenance and chore, out-of-home respite, personal care services, structured family caregiving, waiver nursing, and waiver transportation. Next Generation MyCare beings to be available in select parts of Ohio January 1, 2026, with statewide rollout through 2026. Next Generation MyCare will become available in Southeast Ohio on August 1, 2026.

Requirements for Providers to Become and Remain Certified

To provide services to MyCare Ohio members in the Next Generation MyCare program in 2026, you must:
