This position will determine health and safety risks regarding service delivery and respond appropriately to address identified risks. This position monitors provider procurement and both internal and external quality improvement activities. Quality review, consumer care monitoring, and provider service delivery approval are key components of this position.
Essential duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure systematic, continuous confidential data collection
- Establish and monitor quality assurance, quality control information collection, and feedback mechanisms for aging providers
- Inform and advise supervisors and clinical staff regarding provider compliance issues and problem-resolution plans
- Evaluate provider compliance with applicable aging policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Serve as liaison with ODA staff and Providers regarding PASSPORT and Older Americans Act funding
- Monitor and assess at-risk situations for both agency and providers
- Conduct activities to evaluate both internal and external quality of service delivery and consumer care
- Establish and implement provider compliance evaluating methods
- Consult agency staff regarding incident reporting
- Handle conflict resolution with non-compliant providers and staff
- Maintain updated provider files for ODA audits
- Conduct, coordinate, and supervise provider certification process
- Negotiate with providers in establishing needed aging services
- Monitor ODA approval of new providers
- Maintain provider contractual data bank
- Provide technical assistance to service providers relating to contracts and reports
Education/Experience Required: Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Social Worker with a valid and current license in the State of Ohio, and one (1) year experience.
Starting Salary Range: $39,279 – $49,098
Fingerprinting, drug test, background check, and a valid driver’s license are required for hire.
