Mental Health First Aid Training in Marietta

September 20 @ 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Older Adults and a care provider having a discussion at a table.

Buckeye Hills Regional Council is offering free Mental Health First Aid training across Southeast Ohio in September and October 2024. By becoming certified through this evidence-based, early intervention training program, you can improve the quality of life for older adults and learn how to assist and support those who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. Older adults have high rates of late-onset mental health challenges, like anxiety and depression, and low rates of identification and treatment. This program is made possible through a grant from the Ohio Department of Aging.
