AARP Community Challenge

AARP is accepting applications across three opportunities.

1. Flagship Grants: These support projects that improve public places, transportation, housing, digital connections, and disaster resilience.
   • Up to $15,000
2. Capacity Building Microgrants: These grants are paired with expert support, webinars, and cohort learning for projects to improve walkability and bikeability, implement safe, accessible home modifications, and disaster preparedness training.
   • $2,500
3. Demonstration Grants: These fund projects that encourage replication of exemplary local efforts to improve pedestrain safety.
   • $10,000 – $20,000
