Community Connect Grant

This program provides financial assistance to eligible applicants who will provide high-speed internet service in rural communities. Rural areas that lack any existing braodband speed of at least 10 Mbps downstream and 1Mbps upstream are eligible. The projects funded by these grants help rural residents tap into the internet’s enormous potential for jobs, education, healthcare, public safety, and community development. Funds can be used for the construction, acquisition, or leasing of facilities, spectrum, land, or buildings used to deploy broadband service.
