Description
A key strategy for closing the digital divide in Ohio is to support sustainable, effective digital inclusion initiatives led by regional and local partners, with an emphasis on the following covered populations:
- Low-income households
- Aging populations
- Veterans
- People with disabilities
- People with language barriers
- Racial and ethnic minorities
- Rural residents
- Justice-involved individuals
Projects must address at least one Ohio Digital Opportunity Plan barrier:
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Access to Affordable Broadband
- Access to Digital Skills Training and Technical Support
- Access to Affordable Devices
- Accessibility and Inclusivity of Public Resources and Services
Projects must impact at least one Digital Inclusion Outcome area:
- Economic and Workforce Development
- Education
- Health
- Civic and Social Engagement
- Delivery of Other Essential Services
