Lenny Eliason serves as an Athens County Commissioner and has dedicated more than 25 years to public service, first taking office in 1998. Throughout his career, he has been a strong advocate for economic development, infrastructure investment, and regional collaboration. As a member of the Buckeye Hills Regional Council Executive Committee, Eliason works with local leaders to strengthen communities and advance initiatives that improve opportunities and quality of life across southeastern Ohio.

How We Work
Buckeye Hills Regional Council serves as a forum for local leaders in Southeast Ohio to work cooperatively to improve our region. This spirit of collaboration and service was fundamental to our establishment in 1968 and continues to be our guide
