Micah McCarey serves as Athens City Council President and is the alternate representative for the City of Athens on the Buckeye Hills Regional Council Executive Committee. A dedicated public servant and community leader, McCarey brings experience in local government, higher education, and organizational leadership. Through his roles with the City of Athens and BHRC, he works to strengthen regional partnerships, support sustainable community development, and improve quality of life across southeastern Ohio.
