Transportation > Public Transit: Athens Public Transit is a fixed route bus system currently serving Athens City, The Plains, and Chauncey. APT has reduced fares for seniors, riders with disabilities, and youth age 17 and under making each fare $0.50 Sesnior discounted 30 ride passess, 90-day passess, and 1 year passes are available. These can be pruchased at Athens City Hall. Please fill out the E&D reduced Fare Certification Form provided on the website and bring to Athens City Hall.
