Household & Clothing: Visitors are welcome to peruse and choose up to 10 items per household per week. In situations of acute need (such as a household fire or recent displacement), additional items may be selected with staff approval- please speak to a staff member or volunteer if you are facing a particular hardship.
Food > Food Pantry: As a partner of the Southeast Ohio Food Bank, we provide monthly food boxes to all eligible Athens County residents. All households within Athens County with a total household income at or below 200% federal poverty guidelines are eligible. The Salvation Army Food Pantry is located at our office in The Country Corners Shopping Center at 70 N. Plains Rd in The Plains. The Salvation Army Food Pantry is a pick-up site for the Ohio Commodity Supplemental Food Program, a program which supplies monthly food boxes to qualifying seniors.
