Request for Comment: Noble County Coordinated Transit Plan

May 21, 2024

For Immediate Release

The Monroe County Coordinated Transportation Plan is open for public comment through May 24, 2024. Comments may be submitted via email to Julia Hinzman, Noble County Mobility Manager, at jhinzman@buckeyehills.org or at a public input session on Thursday, May 23, 10:00 a.m. at Allwell Behavioral Health Services, 44020, Marietta Road, in Caldwell.

As a requirement for Federal Transit Authority (FTA) and Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) funding, the purpose of the Coordinated Transit Plan is to identify community resources for transportation and mobility, understand the gaps and unmet needs within those resources, and determine the approach to addressing those gaps and unmet needs. Federal law requires these plans to be developed and approved through a process that includes participation by seniors, individuals with disabilities, representatives of public, private, and nonprofit transportation and human services providers, and other members of the public.

Buckeye Hills Regional Council serves as the Regional Transportation Planning Organization and Mobility Management agency for Noble County. Learn more at buckeyehills.org/transportation.
