Buckeye Hills Forward Advisory Group

The advisory group for Buckeye Hills Forward: A Regional Economic Plan will meet at Buckeye Hills Regional Council, located at 2585 Glendale Road in Marietta, at 1:30 p.m.
As an Economic Development District designated by the U.S. Economic Development Administration, Buckeye Hills Regional Council is responsible for updating the regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) every five years. This update, titled Buckeye Hills Forward: A Regional Economic Plan, lays out a clear path for economic development in the region, formulated by members of communities in the following counties: Athens, Hocking, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Noble, Perry, and Washington. Activities related to manufacturing, workforce, housing, outdoor recreation, energy, agriculture, and small business are areas for development to be explored within the strategy. Progress on the action plan will be reviewed at this meeting.
