The advisory group for Buckeye Hills Forward: A Regional Economic Plan will meet at Marietta Armory Square located at 241 Front St, Marietta, OH 45750 on Thursday, February 12, at 1:30 p.m.

As an Economic Development District designated by the U.S. Economic Development Administration, Buckeye Hills Regional Council is responsible for updating the regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) every five years. This update, titled Buckeye Hills Forward: A Regional Economic Plan, lays a clear path forward for economic development activities in the region, formulated by members of communities in the following counties: Athens, Hocking, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Noble, Perry, and Washington. Activities regarding manufacturing, workforce, housing, outdoor recreation, energy, agriculture, and small business are areas of development to be explored within the strategy. Progress on the action plan will be reviewed at this meeting.
