Broadband Webinars Explore NTIA Funding Opportunities

Buckeye Hills Regional Council recently hosted a pair of webinars to review the recent Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) released by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). The first session, on June 17, reviewed the Broadband Expansion And Deployment (BEAD) and Digital Equity Act (DEA) NOFOs and how to best prepare communities and the state for the historic funding coming from these two opportunities. The second session, on June 24, reviewed the Middle Mile Competitive Grant program NOFO, including eligible applicants, how to apply, possible partnerships, and what is required by NTIA for an eligible project.
