Angie Lawrence

Angie Lawrence joined Buckeye Hills Regional Council in 2017 and currently serves as the Human Resources & Payroll Manager. With over 24 years of experience as an HR professional, she has significant experience in employee benefits, which was her focus for 14 years with the Schwendeman Agency, Inc. in Marietta. She has worked across business industries in both the public and private sectors. Angie provides counsel and support to her staff to help them achieve strategic operational goals while mitigating risk. Her focus areas and core functions of the department include benefits, compensation management, recruitment, and staffing management, organizational and employee development, employee relations, leave management, workers’ compensation, and record keeping. Angie holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Waynesburg University and a Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Marshall University.
