Public Comment Period Open for Renewal Application for the PASSPORT Program

Ohio Department of Aging is seeking public comment on the renewal application for the PASSPORT Waiver. Ohio operates the PASSPORT Waiver due to approval granted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The state of Ohio is proposing to submit a renewal application for the PASSPORT Waiver to CMS with an effective date of July 1, 2023.

Before submitting the renewal application to CMS, the state will conduct an online public-comment period from Feb. 28, 2023, to March 29, 2023. Any person may comment on the application during this period.

ODA values the input of individuals interested in or impacted by changes to the PASSPORT Waiver. Comments must be submitted by midnight of the comment period end date using one of the following options:
